Conner Haugen
About
J.D./M.B.A.
Conner joined Haugen Law Firm P.C. as a law clerk in 2013, obtained his law degree and M.B.A., and now works as a family law litigation attorney. He has a unique perspective of the many challenges that clients face because he grew up in a blended family, as one of eight siblings. With five siblings that are attorneys, Conner learned quickly that hard work is a necessary element of success. This experience developed a keen instinct in him for conflict resolution, child-focused advocacy, and client-forward solutions.
While attending Texas Tech University School of Law, much of Conner’s time was spent honing his trial skills. From his participation on numerous National Mock Trial teams to his service as the Vice Chair of Mock Trial for the Board of Barristers, he acquired the skills needed to be successful in the Courtroom. Conner was recognized for outstanding courtroom abilities through his selection for the J. Hadley Edgar Trial Excellency Award. Since graduating, Conner gives back to his alma mater by serving as a mock trial coach for the Texas Tech School of Law.
He believes that the ideal case is resolved without need for trial because it saves money, time, and prevents children from being caught in the middle. However, if trial is required, Conner prepares aggressively and will walk you through the necessary steps to present the strongest case to the judge or jury.
Conner is licensed to practice law in Texas and New Mexico.
