Madison Lengel

About
Madison Lengel is a compassionate and committed family law attorney who brings both legal skill and heartfelt advocacy to every client she serves. With a strong foundation in family law, she guides individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging moments—providing steady support, clear counsel, and practical solutions.
Madison earned her Bachelor of Science in Media and Communications Studies from Florida State University and her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law. During law school, she cultivated her passion for advocacy through leadership roles in the Family Law Society, Public Interest Law Society, and People Not Property. She also interned extensively with family law firms, gaining valuable hands-on experience with divorce, custody, and support matters.
After passing the bar, Madison relocated to Texas and began practicing family law in Denton County. She quickly became an active member of the Denton County Bar Association and the Denton County Young Lawyers Association (DCYLA), where she has served as Secretary and Social Media Chair. Her dedication to the community is evident through her leadership in events like the School Supply Drive, Coats and Totes Drive, and Adoption Day with the Denton County Lawyers Foundation.
Madison currently serves as the District 11 Director for the Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA). Often called the “public service arm of the State Bar of Texas,” TYLA focuses on serving both young lawyers and the public through educational programs, legal resources, and community outreach initiatives across the state. In her role, Madison represents young lawyers in her region and helps lead efforts that promote access to justice, professional development, and civic engagement.
Madison believes that the ideal family law case is one resolved through thoughtful negotiation—minimizing conflict, protecting children, and preserving family dignity whenever possible. However, when litigation is necessary, she advocates with strength and strategy. She approaches each case with the same care and attention she would give to her own family, ensuring her clients feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.
Madison is license in Texas and South Carolina.
